The main objective of the proposed system is to intermix the energy from solar and wind energy sources.This proposed system will deliver maximum power to the load by combining the energy from both sources,thus minimizing the intermittent nature of wind energy and solar energy.The complete circuit diagram of the system is shown in Fig.3,where VPVis the inputvoltage of PV array,Vwis the input voltage of wind turbine,and Voutis the output voltage.The system consists of PV array,wind turbine and internal mixing circuit.The internal mixing circuit simply takes energyfrom PV and wind to produce the sum of two sources at output.The circuit diagram of the system consists of input capacitors(C1,C2),output capacitors(C3,C4),resistors(R1,R2),inductor(L),switches(Q1,Q2),and diodes(D1,D2).There are four working modes for the proposed system discussed in Section 3.Table 1 gives the parameters and values used in this simulation work.Table 1 defines that the input voltage from PV or wind energy source varies from 0 to 648 V(its maximum nominal value).Accordingly,the output voltage is always the sum of the input voltages of both sources.
