《Improving the sintering performance of blends containing Canadian specularite concentrate by modifying the binding medium》
Base matching schemes containing 0wt%and 40wt%CSC were designed,as shown in Table 8.Sintering tests were performed according to Table 8,and the optimal moistures and fuel dosage were obtained.In addition,the optimal sintering performance indices are listed in Table 9.When 40wt%limonite A or 40wt%limonite B was replaced by CSC in iron ore base blends 3 and 4,the permeability resistance increased by 24.17wt%and 53.97wt%,the flame speed decreased 25.46%and 20.63%,the tumbler index(TI)deceased to 60.91wt%and 61.32wt%from 61.47wt%and62.67wt%,and the solid fuel were increased by 5.92 and3.71 kg/t,respectively.Because of the poor granulation behavior of CSC,more CSC particles spread in a bed layer and blocked the gas passage,and the permeability and vertical sintering speed of blends were deteriorated after CSC was added at 40wt%in the blends.In addition,due to the poor high temperature reaction characteristics of CSC,the strength of sinter products declined and the solid fuel of blends increased.
