With respect to the cooling rate effect,Narayanan et al.[15]demonstrated that the precipitation ofβ-Al5Fe Si approached the Al–Si eutectic reaction as the cooling rate increased.According to the reactions in the Al–Si–Fe ternary balance solidification process[23]in Table 3,the approaches available to suppress theβ-Al5Fe Si phase precipitation are to decrease the nucleation temperature ofβ-Al5Fe Si in reaction 4,increase the temperature of reaction 6,and shorten the time between them,that is,increase the cooling rate.The change laws of the Al–Si eutectic temperature with pressure can be explained by the Clapeyron equation as follows[24]:
