A total of 250 DEGs were found between shortterm and long-term GBM samples in GSE53733.Finally211 survival related genes were selected after excluding 39genes which were lacking in CGGA and TCGA.Univariate Cox regression analysis was performed to detect 211survival related genes for predicting survival in CGGA and TCGA.The seventeen genes with P<0.05 common in two sets were adopted to establish survival-gene signature.A risk score formula was developed in training set with linear combination of the gene expression level(expr)weighted by the regression coefficient derived from univariate Cox regression analysis(Table 1).The risk score of GBM samples were calculated as follows:
