During 1991 to 2016，a total of 4，524，440 gonorrhoea cases were reported in China.Among all cases，73.46%aged between 20-39 years and 71.21%were males.The gonorrhoea incidences for males were higher than those for females in all age categories except in the age less than 15 years（Figure 1），and a continuous，significant increase of male-to-female ASR ratio was observed during the study period（r=0.969，P<0.001），ranging from 1.60 to 5.08.The ASR ranged from 11.1 to 36.8 per 100，000 population in males while from 2.6 to 20.3 per 100，000 population in females.The highest rate was observed in 1999 in both males and females（Table 1）.
