H is Chinese Holstein cattle；F1is the first-filial generation of Fleckvieh；M1is the first-filial generation of Montbeliard；and X1is the first-filial generation of Simmental.The blank means that no analysis was done due to too-few samples.

It could be seen from Table 6 that there was a significant difference in the total milk yield between the first-filial generations of Chinese Holstein cattle and Montbeliard（P<0.05）；and the gestation period of Montbeliard’first-filial generation had a significant effect on total milk yield（P<0.05）.
