In recent years,highly precise ore and rock isotopic data have been collected for greater temporal and spatial extent of the Mo deposits found in the northeastern section of the Qin–Hang metallogenic belt(Fig.7 and Table 5).The distribution of these Mo deposits within the metallogenic belt indicates that the metallogenesis was controlled by the Qin–Hang tectonic–magmatic activity zone(Fig.7b).The Mo deposits in this and adjacent areas yield ore–forming ages that fall within the range of 172 to 130 Ma.The metallogenesis was discontinuous and included two distinct stages.The first ore–forming stage of the Mo deposits in the northeastern section of the Qin–Hang metallogenic belt occurred between 172 and 145 Ma,with a metallogenic peak at 160–150 Ma(Fig.7c).The second ore–forming stage occurred between 137 Ma and 132 Ma(Fig.7c).
