As the ro tational speed increases,the im balance fo rce becomes larger and larger,and the imbalance of the link mechanism always exists[11].And with the increase of the speed of the tufting machine,the unbalanced excitation of the spindle system will increase.Therefore,long term operation will cause spindle deformation,wear and fatigue damage which may limits the speed increase.Therefore,in order to increase the speed of the tufting machine,a new transmission member can be designed instead of the link mechanism as a transmission member between the main shaft and the slave shaft.
