《Experimental investigation of crossflow characteristics in multi-jets system at small nozzle-to-plate spacing》
Three steps were used to compute the velocity vectors.First,the adaptive cross-relation technique was employed with a mask to adjust an appropriate Interrogation Area(IA).The height of the adaptive IA window was set up by the value of H.Overlap value in both directions is 50%.Secondly,each vector map was compared with the average of other vectors in a defined neighborhood by moving average validation.Finally,the mean velocity vector using vector statistics was yielded.Table 1 pre-sents the PIV parameters in this work,where IW means size of Interrogation Window,IAG means Interrogation Area Grid,MAV means Moving Average Validation.
