From the grains analyzed for U–Pb data,53 zircons that showed well-defined concordia on the 207Pb/235U vs.206Pb/238U diagram were selected for in situ Lu–Hf isotopic analysis, the results of which are listed in Table 5.Guided by CL images, the spots used for Lu–Hf isotope analyses largely overlap with,or are close to,those used for U–Pb geochronology. The 24 magmatic zircons fromthe Middle Ordovician Kashikashi granitoid pluton(sample KSKS03)yield similar 176Hf/177Hf values ranging from 0.282192 to 0.282347 andεHf(t)values from-10.5 to-5.3,and also give similar two-stage Hf model ages of1.76–2.10 Ga(Fig.9;Table 4).The 27 magmatic zircons from the Late Ordovician Kayedi granitoid pluton(sample KYD03)yield 176Hf/177Hf values ranging from 0.282110to 0.282493 andεHf(t)values from-17.3 to-0.2,and give uniform two-stage Hf model ages of 1.44–2.51 Ga(Fig.9;Table 4).The 3 magmatic zircons from the gabbro dikes(sample KYDM03)yield similar 176Hf/177Hf values ranging from 0.282259 to 0.282365 andεHf(t)values from-8.8 to-4.9.
