In addition to the above tests，the concentrate and tailing samples obtained from studies using AP-g-PAA（0.5 mg/g）were subjected to analysis with an electron probe micro analyzer.Results are provided in Fig.9，wherein a superior flocculated mass containing a high amount of iron was observed to be obtained from tests using the graft copolymer.Similarly，the tailing obtained shows unflocculated gangue particles；this was further proved using elemental analysis.Results are provided in Table 1，which show that the concentrate contains 94.23wt%Fe O，0.89wt%Si O2，and0.11wt%Al2O3，and tailing analysis shows the existence of45.44wt%Fe O，12.36wt%Si O2，and 7.29wt%Al2O3 using the graft copolymer.
