HS:high sensitive,S:sensitive,MR:medium resistance,HR:high resistance.Values within each column for a year followed by different letters are significantly different at the 0.05 probability level.

The disease level of the three inbred lines with different conidial concentrations was significantly different(Table 1).The high resistant inbred line H152exhibited high resistance under different concentration gradients,and the disease level was stable at level 1The disease level of high susceptible inbred line PI143was 4.2 at the conidial concentration of 1.0×104 c/mL and 6.0 at the conidial concentration of 1.0×106 c/mL The self-bred resistant inbred line FQ010 showed susceptibility at the concentration of 1.0×107 and1.0×108 c/mL.This was due to the excessive inoculation of conidia,which covered up the resistance characteristics,while the true level of resistance could be reflected at the concentration of 1.0×104~1.0×106c/mL.In conclusion,the different resistance levels of maize to A.flavus could be objectively reflected a the inoculation concentration of 1.0×106 c/mL,which would be used as the best inoculation concentration for subsequent experiments.
