The effects of colchicine concentration and treatment time on survival rate and regeneration of L.edulis are shown in Table 1.It could be seen from Table 1 that with the increase of colchicine concentration and the prolonging of treatment time，the leaf survival rate and number of regenerated buds decreased gradually.When the colchicine concentration was 500 mg/L，the leaf survival rate was 48.89%at the treatment time of 14 d，so the concentration was much close to the half lethal dose.Under the highest dose，i.e.，the colchicine concentration of 500 mg/L，the leaf survival rate was 35.56%at the time of 21 d，which was still higher，while under the concentration of 300 mg/L，the leaves all died at the treatment time of 21 d，which was caused by the contamination of partial materials in the experimental process.
