Note:the data of Chongqing were obtained from Chongqing Agricultural Technology Extension Station.

According to the production scheduling of Chongqing Agricultural Commission，the citrus production in Chongqing in 2016 would continue to maintain a steady and rapid growth，the estimated area and yield were 0.206 7 million ha and 2.8 million t，increasing by4.27%and 4.48%compared with 2015 respectively（Fig.1）.Among this，the yield of sweet orange would reach 1.612 million t，increasing by 2.8%；the yield of citrus reticulate blanco would reach 0.395 million t，increasing by 2.6%；the yield of pomelo would reach 0.37 million t，increasing by 18.6%；the yield of hybrid citrus would reach 0.243 million t，increasing by 30.7%；the yield of lemon would decline to 0.181 million t，reducing by21.1%（Table 3）.On the whole，the citrus production in Chongqing in 2016 would keep steady growth and take on following characteristics.
