Although SnO2/ZnO composites are always more active than pure ZnO,too high content of SnO2 would not only damage the dispersion of SnO2in ZnO,but also make redundant SnO2act as recombination centers for electron-hole pairs,causing the efficiency of the electron-hole separation to decrease.So the mole ratio of SnO2to ZnO has an optimum range,that is 1∶3-1∶4.
