The respondents considered 59 points and 21 muscles for the treatment prescription with Bladder meridian points comprising47%(29/59)of those points selected,both locally(spinal points)and distally(Table 5).Favored acupoints included BL23(n=13),GB34(n=12),BL25(n=9),BL20/BL24/BL60(n=6)and LR3/PC6(n=5)along with trigger points in the gluteals(n=13),thoracic and lumbar paravertebrals(n=10),piriformis(n=7),and quadratus lumborum(n=4)(Table 5) .Sixteen percent of the selected points corresponded to the classical‘‘forbidden”points,and 25%of muscles selected for DN were anatomically situated in the vicinity of a classical‘‘forbidden”point.
