All data were presented as the mean±SD(n=12).aP<0.05 vs.control group.
Compared to the untreated rats,exposure to both classical and rock music resulted in a decline in the latency of finding the hidden platform(P<0.05),but no significant difference was fund between classical music group and rock music group(P>0.05)(Figure 1) .The time percentage spent in target quardrant and the times across target platform were increased in the classical music-and rock musicapplied groups(P<0.05)(Table 1) .No significant difference was found between male and female rats.
