Dr.Joao:Unfortunately，I have never been to China，but I have always been very curious about your culture and landscapes.China is definitely on my list!I wish I have the chance to visit it in the near future.Regarding my future research，my main research interests are（1）synergies between open spaces and buildings（knowledge on climate-adaptive solutions in the interface between architecture and landscape architecture-because only then we can really address the urban climate)；（2）informal private-sector initiatives(knowledge that incorporates and activates private initiative on climate adaptation-because cities are mostly privately owned），（3） the‘big picture’of designing resilient urban climates （more about contextual topics around the creation of resilient urban climates，e.g.resilience，urban resilience or microclimatic awareness）.
