The clinicopathologic and prognostic factors of 151 resected patients with PDAC are reported in Table 1.Para-aortic lymph nodes were positive in 22 of 151 patients with resectable tumor(14.6%),and curative resection rate was 61.6%(93/151)in total(Table 1).Multivariate analysis revealed that preoperative CA19-9values(P=0.0002),LN16 metastasis(P=0.03)and surgical margin(P=0.009)were independent prognostic factors after surgery for the patients with PDAC(Table 2).The overall survival of the patients is shown according to the presence or absence of LN16metastasis(Fig.1).The overall survival of the patients with LN16metastasis was poorer than that of the LN16-negative patients(P=0.0014).The 3-year survival rates of LN16 negative and positive patients were 33.1%and 10.6%,respectively.
