The simulation based on the proposed tire hydroplaning model w as carried out w ith the vehicle speed increasing from 0 km/h until the tire w as fully lifted by the w ater flow.The w ater film thickness and slip ratio are set to be10 mm and 15%,respectively.Other model parameters are show n in Tab.1.In this process,w ater film trace on the tire-pavement interface is recorded,and the result is displayed in Fig.4.With the increase of vehicle speed V,the tire-pavement contact area decreases,and the w ater covered area increases.M eanw hile,the influence sphere of tire on the w ater surface is reduced.
