In this chapter,the influences of the important parameters,such as the entrainment ratio(U),ejector area ratio(Ar),superheating at the vapor nozzle inlet(?Tsup),subcooling at the liquid nozzle inlet(?Tsub),vapor nozzle inlet pressure(PV)and liquid nozzle inlet pressure(PL),are thoroughly investigated.Moreover,the pressure lifting(PL)of six working fluids,namely,R1233zd(E),R1336mzz(Z),R236ea,R245ca,R245fa and R365mfc,are compared in the vaper-liquid ejector at the same operating conditions.They are selected in the present study since they are all dry fluids and the droplet formation during the expansion is avoided.Their properties from[21-23]are listed in Table 4.It is noted that in the pro-gram the thermodynamic properties of R1336mzz(Z)is provided by Chemours Company that can be integrated in MATLAB,whereas others are obtained from REFPROP[21].To further discover its working characteristics,the pressures and temperatures at typical locations in the vapor-liquid ejector are studied by using R1336mzz(E)as an example.Furthermore,the reference condition is set at U=3,Ar=0.5,ψ=1.2,?Tsup=5°C,?Tsub=5°C,TV=100°C and TL=35°C,which is based on the previous research on ORC[8].It is noted that TV and TL are the saturation temperatures of the primary vapor flow and the secondary liquid flow,respectively.The superheating(?Tsup)and subcooling(?Tsub)are considered in the actual temperatures.
