**indicates significant increase of yields in the combination compared with the control.

As shown in Table 1,the yields of the tested combinations were 138.57~201.6 kg/667m2,and their harvest indexes were 0.265~0.365;and the control vaviety Zhongyouza 2 had an average yield of 177.10 kg/667m2 and its harvest index was0.287.The analysis of variance showed that there were significant differences in the yield between the experimental materials and the control.Among them,five combinations got an extremely significant increase in the yield,they were A3B1,A3B4,A2B6,A3B7 and A1B1,and their yield increased by 18.09%,11.91%,11.25%,10.91%and 10.03%,respectively,compared with the control;and five combinations with the top 5 harvest indexes were A1B1,A3B1,A3B4,A3B6 and A1B5,and they increased by 27.18%,26.48%,24.74%,23.00%and 12.89%in the yield,respectively,compared with the control.In hybrid parental origin,a sterile line 20A and a restorer line6150R both were in good performance.The average yield of hybrid combinations bred by the 20A reached190.4 kg/667m2 with an average harvest index of0.34;and the average yield of hybrid combinations bred by the 6150R reached 186.09 kg/667m2 with an average harvest index of 0.341.This indicated that the realization of high yields or high harvest indexes had an obvious relation with parental origin or source.
