A Ni60Fe16B17Si3Nb4 alloy ingot was prepared through induction-melting of industrial alloys such as ferro-boron,ferro-silicon,ferro-niobium and pure nickel balance in a zirconia crucible under an argon atmosphere.The Ni60Fe16B17Si3Nb4 crystal powder was produced through argon atomization at a pressure of 0.65~7.0 MPa,followed by superheating at 200~250°C.Consequently,the powder was collected,sieved and divided into different size ranges.The flame CP-3000 thermal spraying equipment was used to fabricate the coating onto 0.45%carbon steel.The parameters are presented in Table 1.
